My Gay Travel Guide is about me…

my gay travel guide blog logoSo, what’s this gay travel site all about? I’m Adam, a gay travel blogger. I started this website because I felt I needed a more specific place to share travel tips and stories as a gay backpacker.

Travelling around the world for over 14 months, I realized many of the things I wanted to know as a twenty-something gay man were hard to find. There are plenty of gay blogs out there but I needed and wanted my own outlet. So here it is.

Mygaytravelguide.com will feature travel news that’s interesting for fellow gay travellers. It could be LGBT tours, events or maybe just something interesting in whichever city I’m visiting. All the content on this site is self-curated meaning I’ve hand-picked what you see. On mygaytravelguide.com, I want to provide interesting content about gay travel and gay-related things happening around the world. As much and as often as possible.

Not only will the content be travel-themed, but I also want to share important political issues from around the world. As a gay man from America, I have a lot of strong beliefs and a desire (and right) for equality. My Gay Travel Guide will also feature gay travel news as well as personal stories, personal tips and personal suggestions that gay travellers want to hear. Every day (or almost every day) something interesting that’s both gay AND travel related will be featured on the homepage. And if you subscribe to the e-mail newsletter, you’ll also get the latest in your inbox.

Please bear with me as this site evolves. There’s a lot of potential and a lot of ideas floating around. Stay tuned.

…and you!

While I like talking about myself a lot, I also think this could be a great outlet for others to contribute. Are you a gay backpacker or do you have something to share about gay travel? Have something interesting to say? The space is yours. Just send us a short note introducing yourself and we’ll get you set up right away! Seriously, I’ve got a soap box but why shouldn’t you? Become a contributor.
